I am watching Gundam Seed subbed right now..!

I'm watching the reguar series on TV as it is brodcast (dubbed) and also watching the fansubs of Gundam Seed Astray.

I don't like what the US dub did to the names of the characters, though, and it's to heavily cut for its late timeslot.

Its a rareity for me to find an anime that i don't like! And with all the Gundam Series I havent found a one that i didnt like, there all good!

To me it's just another mediocre series that abuses the Gundam name. I guess I'm just too much of a fan of the Universal Century to deal with all these new universes they've been putting out, but I don't think that any of them have been particularly deserving of the Gundam name. Not that the inherent quality was bad in any of them (I mainly don't like them due to taste reasons), but they all seem to approach war in a very different way than the original Mobile Suit Gundam.

And none of them have even gotten close to the plausibility of the original universe.

Not trying to stir up contention or anything just giving my thoughts. I'm happy enough that Bandai is finally releasing both all of the UC movies and Zeta Gundam in the US anyway.
