Recent I've had two dreams where I've been shot in my third eye and died. In the first one I got shot there..and when I died..i was still in my body but had no control and like couldnt move..and couldnt breath and just started slowly floating. In my second one I had last night however I was shot and when I died it went black...and I was in this empty black space...and could move around..in a spirit form. (IT FELT LIKE REAL I CANT DESCRIBE BUT I THINK I REALLY TRAVELLED SOMEWHERE) but all of a sudden I realize this was my eternity..and it was hell. Then I aplogized to God...however when my soul travelled back to my body it travelled into the real world...like where I was actually sleeping. And as I entered my body I woke up. I think i may have astral travelled...not purposely so dont call it occult. I think God was telling me something.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi RadMan21. I am reminded of this passage found in Job 33:15-18 (NASB):
15 “In a dream, a vision of the night,
When sound sleep falls on men,
While they slumber in their beds,
16 Then He opens the ears of men,
And seals their instruction,
17 That He may turn man aside from his conduct,
And keep man from pride;
18 He keeps back his soul from the pit,
And his life from passing over into Sheol.
I've had a similar experience when the Lord gave me warnings of hell. In my one and only vision of hell, I was shown the various levels of it (I saw at least three levels of it), with bars that of a jail cell, and a huge flaming abyss in the distance. My assumption is the deeper you're in hell, the more torturous it is.
Aside from that, when I was backsliding, the Lord gave me a different "vision" of hell. The Lord gave me the sound feed from hell directly into my ears, as if I was there presently - without the physical pain or seeing it. I was being tortured in my bed where I sleep with the sounds of hell. Probably one of the worst things I've experience ever, especially spiritually. I basically heard the screams of an innumerable amount of souls being eternally punished with no hopes of escape. During these episodes I was able to ask the Lord of forgiveness and pray that he would stop allowing me to hear the screams. I'm forever thankful.
So I think you know what to do RadMan21 - heed the Lord's warning!

Ok, God is definitely trying to tell you something. I'm Ray, we haven't had much interaction. I hope you don't mind me asking you a few questions? I've had some wild experiences with God, and they can sure "feed" us for a very long time!
What was your sense, that told you this was hell? How long did you stay there? What was your sense, when you were no longer in hell? What do you know about how or why you got out?
What does the third eye mean to you?
Who shot it? Why?
How do you know who gave you these dreams?
What was your state when you woke up?
This may give us a good jumping off point

My sense that it was hell was because I felt myself in a spiritual body, and I felt extremely alone. It was just torturous like I was never going to escape. My escape from this was because after I realized these I began speaking to God asking for another chance and that I was sorry for whatever I had done and I was very sincere.
Third Eye hmmm well for a while I was contempalting like trying open it eventually I decided not to...but like even some Christians were poitning out there was some biblical evidence behind it happening and that that is where we meet God...however I felt something bad about ti so I stopped. Hmmmm...well in the first dream I do not remember andit the second dream I'm pretty sure it was an Alien...because I had been trying to escape their captivity because also....they had me in this house with this room. And at first they were masquerading as nice, but soon the liughts in this room became hotter and hotter and hotter...and noone else seemed to care, but I realized I had to leave so I ran out and go through the window...but then they caught me outside and shot me.
I'm not sure who gave me the dreams.
My state was weird because usually I oversleep like that night I went to sleep at 5...and I had my alarm set to 8 something..I woke up to my alarm going on..it had already been going off for a little...(usually i wake up to the first soudn)...but then usually i go back alseep..this time I knew that it was time for me to get up. So I woke up.

In parts I have been dealing with lust a lot lately, although I've been on a good 2 day run without porn and actually have no urge at all to do it now. I feel like this is the time when I stick through. But still I feel like even still theres something that I miss in life and something I need to do. Ministry is what I feel like, but I can't do that to my full potential at this school I attend now. So I'm going to transfer

Mind you I also havent been to class at this school for 2 weeks and have F's in every class. Because I felt sure in my heart to transfer. I was so nervous about everything and life and now directly after the fact that I need to do ministry came in my head again and I realize this is where I need to go the admission rep emailed me stating that I shouldn't be deterred if my grades don't look good. Because 75% of it is based on ministry intent and letters of recommendation. And that I can also submit a letter explaining. I recieved it at the same time I sent that last message.

Are you sure these dreams are from God?. They sound extremely distressing. I'm sure God does give people distressing visions sometimes, but He usually explains what's going on in them. People have a sense of why they are seeing these things. The exception I can think of is dreams given to non-Christians, such as Pharaoh in Genesis, and Nebuchadnezzar. But even then God sent specific people to interpret those dreams with no uncertainty about the meaning. I suppose He could give a Christian a strange dream like this as long as it was interpreted. The thing is with you you seem to be making big plans about your future, and ministry, without even being sure what this distressing dream means. If it is from God, it must be very important to know the meaning, with no doubt as to what it is. If it is from the enemy it could be used to put you on a track that would not help the people you want to minister to. I know it is school you are going to not full-time ministry straight away but it does seem really important to figure out what this means. 'All who call upon the name of the Lord are saved'. He listens to you. You need to take a lot of time out, go to a peaceful place, and ask the Lord what this dream means. I'll be praying for you.

Well I am glad you are happy about what has occurred. What type of ministry have you been called by Him to do, and have you received confirmation of the type of ministry yet??
I agree with ACWaller, you should pray about these dreams to seek the true meaning for "you". The sin of lust can be a very dark obsessive and possesive one. It could be pointing to repentance of that, along with some counseling to bring full healing before you launch out and minister.

No I haven't planned that far ahead...I try to leave it up to God where I'm going or what I'llend up doing, I mean I could possibly have some regular joe job and just talk to people I come across in daily life not sure though who knows if I'lll be a youth pastor, or what.

Usually the call comes in a personal way from the Lord first, and then people go to seminary after they receive the call. We are each individually called and gifted in certain supernatural ways by the Lord (see gifts of the Holy Spirit). Not all, or just anybody, are called to minister in the capacity and office of a pastor, as that too is a specific gifting that comes from God Himself.

I do not see any purpose in "astral traveling" unless you are a spirit without a permanent body here.
Nor any merit to the concept of a "third eye", besides for silly jokes involving stickers.
Spiritual sense comes within the heart, and is held there -- not in the mind.
The 'eyes are just windows to the heart', it is not the other way around.
This is literally how we perceive, from those areas.
If anything, I would think that you may have guilt issues - negative suggestibility issues - with concepts of "astral travel" and "the third eye" and likely other such matters you have studied.
These matters should be seen as they are: as silly, as meaningless, as distant attempts to find truth at best. To me, they are inert matters to consider, but to you they seem to have weights of guilt, fear, doubt about them which you need to rid your self of.
What these sorts of beliefs and practices can do to people is increase suggestibility, power in your mind and heart, which is negative. And so they can hold sway over you.
Negative states like these have to be met with healthy cynicism, and one should devote one's heart and mind to the Gospels and Scripture as incomparably better revelations of truth, and not watered down nonsense such as the ignorant believe in.
Spiritually, for instance, we can be at one place distant by our spirit, but also present in our own bodies. Paul spoke of this. Believers should be cognizant of this, it is an observable, though subtle, phenomena.
It can be stronger then subtle at times. I have definitely seen this as proven. But people are not "astral traveling" they remain in their own bodies when doing so.
Regardless, I think your belief is a common one associated with astral travel, that one does it, it is sinful, and one can lose touch with one's own body and find one's soul and body in real jeopardy. It is on the level of urban myths and horror movies, but not in fact.
But it is your beliefs which cause your danger here, and beliefs do matter.
If any matter is unsafe and dangerous by your own beliefs, flee from it.

Watch out with that third eye. It's not Biblical. Daniel didn't have a third eye and got dreams and visions from the Lord. My grandfather was in masonry and I always 'saw' things when I was in Church and often I saw that allseeing eye. That's from masonry. They delivered me from it.
Second watch out with porn. Throw your computer out of the house or take a filter if you can't stop watching it. It's a gate of hell (Proverbs 7:27). See the dream I got of the portal of hell. If you can't get rid of those things by yourself, let someone pray for you in Church.

The "3rd eye" is actually just the forehead. The forehead in prophetic symbolism represents the mind & thoughts of a person. Being shot with ammunition symbolizes harsh words being spoken against you which affect you so severely that you feel you're in "hell". Repenting for your part in any exchange of harsh and criticizing words is very important if we are to be in right standing with the Lord.. and you did this. This is so important if one wants to have a real relationship with Jesus.
