A few dollars for how much liability?A few dollars a month for a safety trained owner who secures his firearms. Probably rolled into your gun club dues or NRA membership. If you can't afford that, how did you afford to buy guns in the first place?
QFTW.There will be no new laws. Legislators only pass them to look good.
With the shooting death of a healthcare CEO potentially rattling the secure feelings of the 1%, and with some pretty...over the top images of deference to the shooter online could we expect copycats?
And if copycats do start do you expect gun reform or so you believe the status quo would be maintained?
Keeping in mind there's been over 1700 school shootings in the last 8 years with over 400 children dead in that time.
Or we could treat firearms like trucks and at least register where each one is supposed to be located?Trucks are a very good weapon. Let's ban trucks. Training, proper storage and liability insurance doesn't strop deaths by intentionally driving through crowded streets. Even criminals can buy trucks without restrictions.

- Then give full 100% tax credits for investing in training, memberships, safe storage, insurance, so on

They are registered.Or we could treat firearms like trucks and at least register where each one is supposed to be located?
They are registered.
Don't you know that by defending yourself in that situation you are inviting the cops to shoot you?We need our privately owned forearms, how else can we protect ourselves if someone kicks in our door in the middle of the night?
