  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I was reading something today about sin and how time doesn’t erase sin then I got worried. When I was applying to school in 2021 I wrote something in my application that wasn’t 100% honest and of course I repented for it then but now Im starting to feel guilty. I never confessed to the shoool or anything. I could have and probably should have at the time but I didn’t know how. It wasn’t a huge lie but a lie is a lie. Now I’m about to graduate and still feel guilty. I need advice on what to do? Do i need to confess to the school in order to be truly forgiven by God?

Your feelings of remorse speak for themselves. Confess your sin to God and thank Him for Jesus who paid the price for it
Satan has a way of nagging Christians for past sins. Remind him it's under the blood.
Well somtimes down the road it may be revealed. His Holy Spirit directs us in all truth and conviction. He may be sparing you a deeper consequence later on if you don't reconcile now. Blessings.
