Guardian angels?

Is any one else on here able to talk to their guardian angel? I talk to mine a lot but i don't know if that's normal or not. I'm not very well versed in Christianity because i grew up in a house where we were taught that "religion is evil". The thing is, he told me something (good) and I'm afraid to believe him because I don't want to be disappointed, though I don't think God lies? Or would God tell a lie to make me happy for a short time?I'm sorry if it seems like I'm trolling. Like I said I'm very new to this.

I would test this spirit. It's possible it's a guardian angel and it's possible it's not. A wicked spirit is capable to appear as an angel of light. I would give God praise before and when you speak to any spirit. I wish I could give a little better advice. But please let me know what happens and keep in the scriptures, and pray to God through the cleansing blood of Yeshua, His son.

most of we humans have no clue that we already exist as spirits and that those who are near God are also near angels. it is not common for people to talk with their guardian angels but it is not impossible. God will reach us by any means he feels that he should. it can at times be hard to understand God and thus his angels. one time God spoke to saint francis in a broken down church saying something like: "rebuild my church" and so francis started to repair that broken down building, not understanding that God was using the broken down church as a symbol for his inner spiritual condition and that of others and what God desired of him.

this is no simple thing to answer. I do believe that people seeking God should throw themselves into the fire over him but the hardest struggles are the ones where you are in darkness and you don't feel God and you experience the more darkened parts of yourself. if you are good then your angels should reflect that and if you are evil then they can reflect that too. this is in part based on our capacity to understand and by the kind of perceptions we have. here are a few quotes by swedenborg, a 18th century christian that talked with angels and wrote lots of it down. i quoted him several times so I put it in a spoiler. they are worth checking out.

That is a very interesting video. I don't want to seem harsh. But I would be wary of the concept that something that appears to be good is of God. Because I believe Satan is more clever than a mere human.

But I’m going to continue to do what I’m doing. I want to contradict the claims of the people who want to be treated like they are the same as us because of what they brag about. Such people are false apostles and dishonest workers who disguise themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder! Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. It is no great surprise then that his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.

I know lots of new age and Buddhist, etc. theology stems out of these Angelic visitations. Even Muhammad claimed to have such a visitation. That is why we must test every spirit. That is not to say that all mystic revelations are not real! I think that God's revelation is always fulfilling. But we can easily be deceived by spirits. On earth, to the human eye, they can look however they want. But only God knows their true appearance. That is why you need to use God's name to test it.
