  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Okay folks, at the end of the day, we are all brethren in Christ, right? We may eat each other sometimes, but there IS a law of love, and so here I present to you, a verse, which is TREMENDOUSLY important to keep.
I mean, this is LAW, yo:

Hebrews 10:24-25 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

This verse cannot be interpreted to mean anything other than what it says, we must gather together, and guess what? God doesn't give us the excuse of disagreeing with each other to use to NOT gather together.

I submit to you ALSO these verses:

2 Thessalonians 2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
1 Corinthians 5:4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Colossians 3:13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
Matthew 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
44 Acts 14:27 And when they were come, and had gathered the church together, they rehearsed all that God had done with them, and how he had opened the door of faith unto the Gentiles.

So. We MUST fellowship, and forgive one another, and love one another.

I am NOT advocating that we put away all our disagreeances, just that we do so here in this thread. Come and let's celebrate the One behind it all, the One for whom we fight so vehemently!

Aw well bless you! What kind of meats do you like? I'm a beef fan myself, but my husband likes chicken. We have much in the way of disagreement in our own house lol

While I do not really care for meat I am not a veggie by any means. I eat meat all the time. It is just not important to me. Mostly I eat chicken because it is cheap. Most of the time I do not eat meat unless it is between 2 pieces of bread or in a stew. Most of my cooking is crock pot style meals. I am left over king. There is so little one meal items for sale in the store and when one finds them you pay more than the family size item. So I buy the family size and crock pot it in a stew. Keeps me alive and from starving.

What is this? I thought they had fellowship forums here somewhere else. What does a newbie know?
