Okay folks, at the end of the day, we are all brethren in Christ, right? We may eat each other sometimes, but there IS a law of love, and so here I present to you, a verse, which is TREMENDOUSLY important to keep.
I mean, this is LAW, yo:
Hebrews 10:24-25 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
This verse cannot be interpreted to mean anything other than what it says, we must gather together, and guess what? God doesn't give us the excuse of disagreeing with each other to use to NOT gather together.
I submit to you ALSO these verses:
2 Thessalonians 2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
1 Corinthians 5:4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Colossians 3:13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
Matthew 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
44 Acts 14:27 And when they were come, and had gathered the church together, they rehearsed all that God had done with them, and how he had opened the door of faith unto the Gentiles.
So. We MUST fellowship, and forgive one another, and love one another.
I am NOT advocating that we put away all our disagreeances, just that we do so here in this thread. Come and let's celebrate the One behind it all, the One for whom we fight so vehemently!
