Hello everyone,

My name is Shane and I am currently serving overseas in the Marine Corps. I am twenty-six years old and a follower of Christ. I decided to join this site when I realized that many of my brothers-in-arms were not also brothers in Christ, leaving me with very limited outlets for fellowship and discussion of the Christian variety. I have come here to learn from, and share with, other Christians so that we may all grow together! I am excited to be here!

Thank you very much. I'm glad to be here and glad you posted on this thread. I have been reading up quite a bit lately on the Lutheran Church and would like to know more! (Very curious person here.) I know I don't have the permissions for PM yet, but someday soon I hope.
