Hello everyone at Christian Forums!
Wow I had no idea there was such a huge online Christian community! I am very encouraged and praise God for such a place where Christians and non-christians can come together to learn about God and one another! I hope this would be an enlightning, edifying, and encouraging experience for everyone in their steps toward God.
I am mainly here to learn more about deepening my relationship in Christ. I have been raised as a Methodist, personally met Christ as my Savior, at the age of 18, and now living as a (not so) young adults ministry in a Presbyerian church at age of 35. I am also interested in learning about Christian dating and relationship. Although I had many lady friends in the fellowship of Christ, I did not have all that much opportunity to date or become intimate with anyone. However, I have recently met this wonderful person and pieces just fell in places and we began "seeing" each other. We have just came back from a two-week short-term mission trip to Japan and our relationship is getting deeper, as we pray for a life-long partnership in Christ through marriage in future (perhaps next year?)
Since I am such a "novice" when it comes to Chrstian dating when it comes to dating (I am NOT naive in terms of knowledge!
), I hope to learn as much as I can and build our relationship under the foundation of faith centered in Jesus. There are many bad advices out there and secular views with premiscuous sex and other immoral things in regards to dating. I hope to resist falling into such temptations and do everything in prayer and with God in center of our relationship.
