CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm German and would love to visit Germany! My grandfather was from Germany, but he left the family before I was born, so I never met him. He passed away.

I would be glad to show you my home town Baden-Baden, a very special town.
It has been said, that it once was "the capital of Europe in summer" - when all the European kings and princes and presidents etc. met there during their summer holidays. :)

My parents took me to Mt. Zugspitz, Lake Eibsee and to see Mad Ludwig’s Castle in Bavaria during the 60’s when my dad was stationed at an Air Force Base in Europe.

I remember Switzerland. My mom told me the monks of St. Bernard Pass used to take their dogs with them during winter snow storms to rescue lost travelers in the pass.

Too much wine is too much trouble. Peace.

My grandmother's maternal grandparents came from Bauschlott, Baden in the mid 1800's. The village has since been combined with two others and has been given a new name.

Btw: Saint Bernard of Aosta is one of my patron saints. :)

For those that are interested in wine:
Red Gold (Rotgold) is a blend of Pinot gris and Pinot noir, special to my region.
My region is Baden - the western Part of Baden-Württemberg.
Once the Grand-Duchy of Baden, ruled by the Grand-Dukes of Baden. :)
