CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The only Polish I met was a Polish Jew in Beijing.
Maybe you know the film《EDGES OF THE LORD》. A friendship story between a Polish Jewish boy disguised as a Catholic and a Catholic boy a son of the Jewish boy's new family during World War II.
《EDGES OF THE LORD》
In the film ,during the World War 2 , a Polish Jewish child(orphan) disguised himself as Catholic and was fostered in a Catholic family. As a response, his new brother the Polish Catholic child disguised himself as a Jewish child and went to the concentration camp for Jewish in order to emulate Jesus, for the gospel mission he understood. In the end, the Jewish boy received the Holy Communion of the Catholic Church, but the unleaven bread had a strange shape. So the title was' Edges of The Lord '.

Hi there. My husband is from Poland, the Gdansk region. I have been there many times, fellowshipping with his family and the other Christians that surround his family (they are non-denominational protestant missionaries). If you're ever in Bojano (pomerania, Gdansk suburb(?)), look up Stebnicki family. They are good people, and welcome fellowship with any Christians. My father-in-law is a preacher/botanist/author, and my Mother-in-law is a natural doctor/counselor/travel agent. They live on donation, but have many resources like food pantries and other that can help anyone in need. The Ukranians coming through that they helped (very nice people) established a church in Gdansk or Gdynia (not sure) I think called Revelation. Mind you, this is protestant, but...we all love God, so we're family.
I love Poland, and I know America really needs Jesus, but the people of Poland strike me as sweet and in need of Jesus, too. Wait, all the world needs Jesus!! Much love.
