Greetings from North-central WA!

Hi everyone,
I just signed up awhile ago, and thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Kim (Bluevelvet), and I'm from Tonasket, WA. I'm so tickled to find an active christian forum, because its one of the best ways I've found to learn and grow in my christian walk.

The area that I live in is fairly remote, with very few resources that are close by. (I don't even have cable TV or dish) So I rely alot on the internet for my spiritual feedings (other than my church and bible studies), because I've got a very serious hunger for God's Word.

I look forward to learning and growing with many of you. I probably won't post a whole bunch, as I like to soak up what is being discussed, but I'm sure I'll throw in my thoughts from time to time.

Thanks guys for the warm welcome. As far as how long I've been hungry? Well, its been a constant thing for about a year and a half. I've completely immersed myself into the Word, which includes 2 weekly bible studies and a discipleship class, not counting my internet research, which takes up most of my free time, (I was laid off my job last Nov, which has allowed me to focus on my christian walk and getting to know Jesus intimately). But I still can't seem to get enough. Does anyone else feel this way?

Hey Kim! Wonderful to have you join us! I know what you mean, I live in a rural area and lightning took care of any television about seven years ago, haven't missed it at all!!! Except for some of the Christian programming I could find now and then. God is everywhere though and it has deepened my walk with Him. Sometimes these things are blessings in disguise!
