What's up guys, I'm a young guy from Miami, 17 years old, graduating high school this year!!! (CRHS Barracudas) I came here because I've been going to church my whole life but I never really grew in my faith. I'm still trying everyday and I hope this forum gives me a helping hand^_^

Hi 786man!~ Wow what an exciting start to life eh? Coral Reef HS! I went to Killian, myself (LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time ago lol) Church in South Florida is kind of a different animal than it used to be... IDK about you but I liked the traditional services that were quieter and more reverent and the messages were of worshipping God in His glory (not the bouncing about waving arms and singing choruses---though I know many like that).... I enjoy Bible Study for the learning (ie don't wish to have a lesson from the pulpit like a lecture in class you know what I mean?)

The key item for church is to have a personal knowledge of Jesus. We can have all the head knowledge about Him, and even "experience" His Spirit in a meeting, but unless we have asked Him to forgive us and believe that He has (because of His death on the cross and His resurrection proving His power and love).... well, unless we do that once and "for all" we don't have faith! The hype and good feelings in a church service will wane once we leave because we need Jesus inside---all the day long--to keep strong.

Peace bro
