  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Greatness comes through sacrifice. We see those whom we respect and think are really great in the Kingdom of God. However, we don’t always know how much they have had to suffer and sacrifice in order to get to where they are.

Some have been jealous of the anointing that’s on another person. They have wanted what the other person has without having paid the price for it. Or, should I say, “pray the price” for it?

Some have given up their lives as they once knew it – houses and friends and other things – simply to go where the Lord said to go, and to be able to do what the Lord said for them to do. The people who see these ones have no idea of how much suffering has gone on first behind the scenes. They only see the end result – the anointing – and they wish they could have it.

Diligence and study has preceded any godly teacher of God’s Word. Patience and perseverance have had to have been worked into their lives. Warfare has had to have been learned – sometimes, even merely for the purpose of survival, as words had been hurled against them by unknowing bystanders.

Greatness can come to all. God is no respecter of persons. What He has done for one, He can do for another. Yet, that other one has to first become willing to pray the price.

:amen: to the truth of this!

I know that I myself am often too quick to judge other people's annointing and success without considering what it may have cost. I repent for this and take my judgements back to the cross and leave them with our LORD and Savior WHO paid the greatest price of all.

Oh yeah. The Lord certainly did pay the price for us all. As we pick up our crosses (not His cross, or someone else's) to follow Him, we too will pay the cost for the anointing.

Many have said that it's too high a cost, and refuse to pay what it takes. Then, they grumble and complain about the others. That only makes it worse for them, as God's Word specifically tells us to not touch His anointed (nor to do His prophets any harm).

When we repent, He will of course quickly forgive us.
