It's a rip off for the fans to vote for they (the fans) voted Jason and Allie the worst singers but the stupid judges voted Matt and Ashley A off cause they are new to broadway.

So if anyone here has voted it is a waste of your time cause it's up to the deaf judges.

After Jason got done singing they should have praised him but they dissed him even after they kept him....duh...and as for Allie ain't no one home LOL.

Matt and Ashley both had more emotion with their songs and they sung a whole lot better then the other two.

I didn't even remember who Jason was from last wk ....boring and Allie is like duh...

This is my opinion it is a rip off....does anyone here agree that it is stupid for the fans to even vote?

I don't know why everyone is mad about the way the judging is done...I think it's fair. The audience AND the judges get to participate in the choosing. I like that. The judges aren't deaf...they know better than most of us what would make for a good Broadway show. You also have to keep in mind that the performances probably sound different live than they do on tv...that might be why they would say someone is great when they don't sound great to us. Also, these judges are much kinder than the AI judges, which those of us who watch both shows might not be used to. :)

The most surprising thing to me was how old and hardened-looking the rest of the cast members were when they introduced them on the finale show. I thought Max and Laura looked so young and fresh and out of place amongst them.

And I had to wonder why they made such a to-do about the older people who showed up during the audition shows. Some of them didn't look any older and/or hard-bitten than the ones they actually cast in the supporting roles!

I noticed that too, Naamah! I couldn't believe how old the rest of the cast is. *Definitely* not passing as high-schoolers. More like caricatures of high schoolers.

There was an especially old-looking T-bird (the last one introduced, maybe it was the character Doody). He was as old as that guy Dominic, who was cut from Grease Academy but sort of looked like John Travolta. And the only young-looking woman was the first one introduced (Jen? Jan?).

Then there was Austin who was bemoaning the fact that, at 30, he really needed to get his big break or else he'd be considered over the hill! Heck, he looked like an adolescent compared to the Grease Broadway cast. :p
