There must not be very many of us Gen. X'rs on here, so I'll just start us off, I guess.

I'm grateful for: my Wife, who has been a real trooper through our years together. She's amazing! Intimidating, but amazing !!!

Yes, thank you for job of mamahood,
for all of us going to church,
that husband made pancakes,
for an evening family walk,
and that we had a sunny day.

Thank you so much that after _ years, we have been blessed with a daughter! ___ turned 2 on ___ and is in __. Thank you we will be travelling over to __ soon to bring her home. Thank you she appears to be healthy. Thank you despite the long wait, we did not give up HOPE. Sitting here looking at her picture, it is just so amazing that we will have the privilege to raise this little girl. It's so awesome.

...the only think I'd change in that is the line about "that husband made pancakes."

Mine would say, "Dang, Girl! [i.e. my Wife] You just made some killer Waffles !!! MMMMMM. "

The rest would read the same. I appreciate my wife's mamahood. I really do.
