Grandpa Poem

You were always there for me
to pick me up when I was down,
to cheer me on because you were my biggest fan,
and take me wherever I needed to go.
You never said too much only what needed to be said.
Your faith in Our Father is an inspiration to all.
You never missed a day at church.
You were there to serve the Lord.
But things have changed now
You have a lot to say but it doesn't always make since.
You can't even remember who I am to be my fan.
Oh you know I belong to you but that is all.
Now I am your biggest fan and take you wherever you need to go.
I am following in your footsteps with my love for Our Father.
I thank you for all you have given me.
You have been my earthly father and
introduced me to Our Heavenly Father.
I know when we get to Heaven you will remember me.
I will always remember you.
