  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Easily the best of the prequels. Compared to the Original Trilogy it was more of a D- but after the first two prequels, which were worse than F-, it deserved a B-. I actually quite enjoyed it, saw it twice at the movies. Hayden Christensen still can't act, Natalie Portman only just passes, the dialogue is still poor, and the ridiculous reliance on computer generated special effects is still there (the CGI was breathtaking, I admit, but a movie should not depend on it, nor should it take up all the director's efforts).

At least Jar Jar didn't get a line.

And it was kinda cool seeing it all tie in to the real Star Wars movies. The Anakin/Obi-Wan lightsabre dual was very cool.

I personally thought it was the best of all six films. The first/fourth Star Wars was the same if you think about, it had horrible dialogue, but they went to see it for the special effects, it was basiclly a western in space if you think about it :p Anyways, according to now adays, nobody would use puppits as aliens like in the fourth, fifth, and sixth, everything is done with special effects now, so obviously like said above, the special effects were breathtaking, and it was the best of the prequals obviouly, and I personally thought it was the best of the sequals as well.

The acting and over-dependence on special effects takes it down to a B- for me. It was easily the best of the preqs tho! It can't touch any of the originals in the acting or plot. = ) Empire Strikes Back is an example of what it takes to get an A in my book!
