Is anyone here a grad student or considering applying to grad school? I'm getting my B.A. this semester and am planning on taking some time off but would love to go to grad school. Anyone else?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm thinking about it, but other than researching schools, I haven't actually DONE anything to get started on the process of getting in to grad school yet.

I am, but not for a few years. I haveta finish my second bachelor's before I apply. I think I'm going to try to do mine online while I work, but I haven't totally decided yet.

I'm in my internship for my MA in early childhood development and education...then I'm done! Hopefully, I can get a job teaching or something else working with children that I"ll enjoy.

I went straight from my BA to my MA and did that full-time which was amazing but exhausting! I'm working now but I want to start my PhD this September, by which time I'll have had 2 years out of school which is long enough! I can't wait to go back.
