Sure, as soon as you answer nobdysfool's question.
So then, continue your conversation with him then, answer his question. My conversation with NF will remain with him.
I am now conversing with you.
Look, if you can't answer, I'm sure everyone will understand. However, if you won't answer, then everyone will have to assume you don't want to answer, for it will usurp your beliefs.
So then, continue your conversation with him then, answer his question.
I'll be waiting.
Also, I do not really care what everyone thinks or what they assume. Especially if they discuss as you do and don't answer questions but demands their to be answered as you do.
So, you can continue to play silly games or answer his question.
I'll be waiting.
Glad to see that nothing's changed around here.
Perhaps you would like to answer the question, thatbrian.
Is a man who lives an ungodly life and filled with worldly lusts saved?
Are we saved by grace through faith or by works of the law?
So now you are guilty of which I have been accused.
Your Calvinist brothers would not want you to answer a question with a question.
Maybe you should listen to them.
Is a man who lives an ungodly life and filled with worldly lusts saved?
A yes or no would suffice.
I was joking! I couldn't resist.
I must ask one question, though, in all seriousness: Is the man a Christian?
So now you are guilty of which I have been accused.

A yes or no would suffice.
Thanks for clarifying that.
Are you talking about the man who lives an ungodly life and filled with worldly lusts?
A Christian is one who follows Jesus and lives a life according to His words. I don't think Jesus
ever said to live an ungodly life filled with worldly lusts.
I'll give you three names:
Moses
David
Paul
You tell me what they have in common besides being among the 1/2 dozen men most used by God.
Unless you understand that God does everything in covenant, you won't be able to understand how He saves sinners.
NF, if you know the answers to my questions, then you will have the answer to your question. Very simple.
No need to ask anyone, you can find the answer yourself. You don't have to guess, and you will not be wrong if you answer my questions.
EmSw said:Titus 2
11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men,
12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age,
You do understand what God told His covenant people in the OT who kept sinning, right?
They quit living their lives of ungodly behavior and worldly lusts.
Now, I'll give you three names:
Cain
Pharaoh
Daughter of Herodias
What do they have in common?
Great answer!I was joking! I couldn't resist.
I must ask one question, though, in all seriousness: Is the man a Christian? If he is, then yes. If not, then no.
Oh, I know the answer to your questions, but they do not answer mine. It is just more of your obfuscation and counter-attack, which shows me that you don't want to answer because you know it cuts to the heart of your faulty doctrine.
In reply to your post:
I answered: "Do you do that (Titus 2:11-12) to GET saved, or do you do it BECAUSE you are saved?"
But he left off an important part:
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
Tit 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
Who looks for that Blessed Hope and the glorious appearing of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ? Not the unregenerate, not the unsaved, not the sinner.
That letter was written to saved men, exhorting them to proper action and conduct. It was not written so that they could BE saved, or get themselves saved, it was written to men who already WERE saved.
So, my questions still stands:
"Do you do that (Titus 2:11-12) to GET saved, or do you do it BECAUSE you are saved?"
