Hi all, I just wanted to let everyone know that I started my 5 week Microbiology class last Tuesday and it's proving to be the hardest class I've taken so far. I had to take the condensed class, so I'm learning 16 weeks worth of information in less than 1/3 of the time. :(

Anyway, in the middle of it all, my father-in-law is coming for a visit next week and so is my sister from Colorado.

I have a test every Friday until June 29th, when the class is over, so my nights are going to be filled with studying and trying not to neglect my poor children (they won't LET me neglect them, trust me).

I won't be able to get on here because I have to set some priorities until this class is over for sure.

I just didn't want anyone thinking I had been banned. HaHa!

I'll try to get on here on Sabbaths, but I'm not sure how that will work out.

Just four more weeks! If you wanna send up some prayers, I'd really appreciate it. This is one of the main classes the nursing dept looks at when considering applications so it's really important that I get an A.

God's many blessings to all of you and you'll be in my thoughts and prayers!

How do you pass that final exam?

You can't pass or fail it.

What will be will be.

That which has been predetermined is inevitable.

And as long as we continue to walk with Christ we can be assured that our salvation is sure, even if we fall short of being perfect in character.

Hey Trust,

All the way through- from High School on- I had one plan. Before each exam I would study enough to know the material, then I would go in, get my test and say a short prayer asking God to lead in my life through this test. If he wanted me to continue on in my goal to graduate and get into PT school then I had done my part in studying so I knew that He would help me make the grades I needed. If it was not His will for me to make it to PT school, then, well- He had a much better plan for me. The great thing was I was usually the first one finishing the test and I never spent all the time reviewing answers and second guessing. It completely relieved my stress! I would recommend this plan to anyone going through school. (Note, you still must study, just don't kill yourself studying, and forget about spending time with God! But, if you do your part God will do His to work in your life His will)

Hi Loveaboveall,

Let me say that I totally related with this!!

I say a prayer before I start to study, and then I always go to God in prayer right before the test. I say a little silent prayer for His guidance.

I used to think I was being silly since God has much bigger things to do than worry about me doing well on a test or studying efficiently....but I know He wants us to come to Him with ALL our burdens.

It's made all the difference in the world.

I don't study as long as I used to, now I just study smarter.

And I absolutely agree, if God wants me in nursing school and I do my part, I know He'll get me there and guide me through.

Thanks!

In the fall, I'll be going back to school after a year of being done with it.. :(

I took an 18 year "break" from college (it was just going to be a year, mind you), and I'm so glad to be back. It's hard work, but there's such pride in accomplishment!

Are you going back for a degree, or finishing a degree, or just taking a class?

I'm starting a master's program. I finished my undergrad degree a semester early, so that's why I had all the time off. In the meantime though I have been working, and at a very nice job at that. But I guess it's back to studying for finals and midterms for me...
Well, I do praise God that I have the opportunity :)

Hey, good for you!

I praise God for the opportunity too. I'm sitting here studying the night before a huge final, with the added pressure of knowing I have to get a pretty good score to keep my A, and I'm still kissing my book! HA!

It keeps me focused. At least with school you know what's expected of you, you know it's going to be hard work, and there's always a reward at the end if you do what you're supposed to. Pretty much like life (well, most of the time anyway).

I'm so grateful for college right now, although I guess I shouldn't be as happy about it as I am! That's probably a little weird. :)

I got an A in my Microbiology class!

I wasn't sure if I had kept my A or not since I had to have an 82 on the final to keep it. I got an 89 on the final (which is totally cool since it was really HARD and tricky)!

:)

All glory to God!!
