Praise God, that is awesome! I've recently returned to God from backsliding for quite a while and returning to God is awesome. You must be so eager to grow in Christ. I know I love Him more and more now that I am back in Him again.
Some quick advice that will help you in your walk so much. I wish someone had told me this when I first started walking with the Lord. Always rely on the Lord to provide you with the strength to continue and grow in Him. What I mean is that the Christian walk is not something we can achieve on our own. I had always thought that I had to become good (on my own) in order to grow in Christ. I thought that the more sin I could remove from my life, the closer I would grow to Him. I would just end up frustrated because I could not make myself holy for Him. The Christian life is so much more beautiful than that. All we need to do is to let Christ give us strength to change, ask Him to continually change us and make us more like Him. Read the Bible as much as possible and drink it in. Pray and spend time with Him. He will hold you in Him if you earnestly seek after Him with all your heart. If you find that you are not seeking after Him with all your heart, then ask Him to help you with that and continue seeking Him. He will surely answer your prayers. Just remember, don't get frustrated if you find you can't bring yourself closer to Him. Just relax, spend time with Him in prayer and His word, and He will draw you to Him.
