Got My 3rd Year Sober Coin

I have had 3 years before but back in the 90s and never got the coin. This time I got it and now I'm working on my 4 year coin. It was a hard battle for me for years and I spent tons of money on beer and more beer until after almost 40 years of drinking, I ended up in the hospital with alcoholic gastritis.

While I was in the hospital they found out that I have Hep-C so I stopped drinking again for a while then started again until I got sick again. This went on for years until one day I said no more. That was 3 years and a few months ago. I prayed a lot that God would help me stop drinking and He did.

Congratulations. I have had 8 years of sobriety at one point, and 6 years at another. I keep my 1 year coin in my jewelry box to remind me that my recovery is precious to me, just like my jewelry.
