Thanks, Nakor.
I was just in this forum yesterday and didn't see this thread. Weird. Anyway, I love G+. I like it so very much more than Facebook. My problem with Fb are all of the annoying apps (happy meter, games, etc) and I don't like that it tells someone when I friend someone, like something, or post on someone's wall, etc. G+ doesn't have that.
G+ is a tad confusing at first, though I've posted helpful tips that were shared by my friends. Speaking of, I love the sharing aspect. On Fb, you can share links, but on G+ you can share even witty posts...though you can also disable reshare, if you don't want people resharing your stuff. To me, it's basically a cross between Twitter and Fb. The people who enjoy it the most (like me) seem to follow a certain pattern. We add to our circles a bunch of people who just post interesting stuff: photographers and artists (I have a circle just for them), famous people (celebrities like Wil Wheaton or just famous within G+ because of great and/or helpful posts that they make), interesting commenters (I read some comments people make on interesting posts and that led me to circle 3 people-one of who is great and I could so see us being friends if we lived near each other), and of course friends (for me, CFers and my sister).
I also really love that there is no wall posting on G+, so I don't have public (well, to those in my circles) conversations or profile clutter. People can make private posts to me and it appears nicely in my stream and I don't have to go to a separate location (like an inbox) for giving or receiving messages.
I'm still a little paranoid about how much info Google gathers, so I haven't posted any pics or personal info about myself yet. Probably pointless since I have gmail, use the google search engine and chrome, but oh well.
ETA: I hear Google is adding games (especially Zynga, since they invested with them), but hopefully they handle games better than Fb. I'm hoping that games will have their own section in the stream, like "Incoming" (where posts of those who follow you, but are not followed by you are posted) has.
I know that Fb has lists. I have made good use of them. But I still like G+ circles better. They are easier to use and makes my stream very manageable as I follow more people.
