Goodbye CF...

I'm leaving this place for a few reasons I'd like to share with all of you.

This is going to be hard, and I'm not going to bash this place because there are tons of reasons I like this place and some really good friends who have helped me out here allot, but there are too many Ahtiests here, and it seems as though nobodies doing anything about it when it comes to teaching them the word, or at least not as many as I'd like there to be. It's always one one one, just once I'd like to see a few Christians go into the Atheist forums and tell them how it is but there are never enough. There are about six Atheists against one Christian, who do you think's going to win?

The good things about this place is that I love allot of you guys, you've been there for me, and I'd like to say that I would like to continue our friendship, if you want to get in touch with me, IM me , BongoDude87 or e-mail me, [removed email]

You all are great, but I've had it up to here with the number of none beleivers there are here and the way we're handling it.

bro, it's a wicked world......When people come here and mark themselves as athiests they usually are here just to stir up trouble and aren't willing to listen period, they come here to destroy christians and that is their objective, to make us not believe anymore. I find it best to just ignore them once they start argueing, but if someone wants to ask questions I will talk to them, but going out of my way for something that isn't going to happen is just a waste of time.....

I know what you mean about one on one with the atheists. But just speak the word. God said it would not return void.I gave one half of my blessings once. She was shocked. She even sent me an IM thanking me. You may not see immediate fruit or any for that matter. But the seeds you plant aren't yours.

It says in the Bible we all fall short of the glory of God, and that's what I've done lately. I'm sorry if I've hurt some of your feelings, it's just that I got a little upset that there weren't enough Christians over at the Atheist Forums, and I guess I sort of took it out on CF...

To be truthfull my walk with Christ has been very difficult lately and I guess it hurts me to see people who are always happy and doing well with their walk and when you ask them how their walk with Christ is, they say "AWESOME!"

Can I tell you something? You are not alone with your walk with Christ being difficult. I'm going through alot of things myself right now. I have severe depression, no med's, no will to live at times and alot of other things. I'm going to be honest and tell you my walk with Christ is just poopy right now. I've actually been doing alot of research into bible study materials that deal with doubt and anger and frustration with God for both myself and for a friend so that we can encourage each other while we grow. I challenge you to find a bro in Christ your age and go to your youth pastor and ask him for guidence and some material to help you grow. If there is any specific struggle you are going through you can feel free to pm me bro.

Truthfully, there aren't any "atheist" forums at CF. There are open forums, where non-believers and believers can both post. You're right though...these forums are predominantly non-believers who want to make us look like idiots or gullible or crazy. But if God is for us, who can be against us???

Stick to the Christian-only forums if that is what you are looking for. If you get lead by the Lord, go into one of the open forums and speak your mind, in love and compassion. It will not go unnoticed.

Notice he uses the word PRESS, which means: To exert steady weight or force against; bear down on.

And even when we feel like we struggle God is faithful.
Isaiah 40:31 but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Keep hanging in there with Christ... you may feel like 6 to 1 proclaims loss... but Christ plus anything is more than sufficient.

I thank God that the unbelievers are here among us... what better place can they be. Maybe the Lord chose you to plant a small seed of hope that you may never see blossom... but the Lord will send another along to water that seed.

We need each other at times like these, that we will encourage and build one another up in Christ. We are right here.

I don't hold it against you at all. My relationship with God is rather weak right now. The desire to be close to him is there, but alot of things keep getting in the way. It was like that a few months ago. We all have or ups and downs. Like Phileo said keep hanging in there..

There are very few atheists on this site. All of them stay in the science forum anyway. Compared to the rest of the web I can tell you that the atheist population here is exceedingly small.

Thanks guys, to be truthfull I think I may just need some time away, this may seem a little sad but I'm going to go find a U2 forum out there, I just for once would like to have a decent conversation without it being up tight, and people asking you questions. I want a little sence of humor and I haven't even been able to use that without some people refering back to the Bible...

God bless 'em and you too! BTW, true Christians don't see you as an "infidel" just an equal that does not believe in Christ Jesus. In other words, the only difference between a Christian (believer) and a non-beleiver is just that: belief. Do we feel your soul is in jeprody? You bet. Should we condemn you or feel superior. No way.

To claim moral, metal or physical superiority goes against Christ's teachings, no matter how well intentioned. That said, we do follow His teachings and try to live as He lived.
