Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Having to tweak your morning routine to allow time for the kitten to play with your shoelace.

Nothing but good.

Staying an extra few minutes on CF to reply rather than having a leisurely time getting ready for the day.

Go to the porch to throw the dog toy for your retriever about the 4th time after the retriever keeps poking the toy against your side -- probably good, because finally you go out in yard and make her run around a lot fetching it and get some sun and air. :)

I hope you don't mind me, captivating the above thought or rather picture, and making it obedient to Christ...

The master of the dog is Christ, the porch is the place where we offer Him our prayers, the dog is us (Mat. 15:26), the continuous retrieval of the toy, is our persistence in asking for His help in times of instructive abandonment (not because of sins). And it’s all good because we go out of this world and into the mystical yard, the sanctuary of the heart, where we enjoy His light and the fresh air of His Spirit.

Yeah, that's totally off topic.

Biking in the rain.

Good if you live in a country with warm rain like Singapore, bad if you end up with frostbite like in Melbourne

Getting up a half hour early to check whether the game updates on your PS4 have downloaded and installed, then ending up a half hour late because you also needed to check them out.

This is very good. Enjoy the cuteness and innocence of the kitty before it grows up and turns into the cat from hell.

Good: Relaxing with coffee and the morning paper. (Yeah, I'm one of those dinosaurs who still likes reading a newspaper.)

Bad: When our 2 birds start screaming because they want out of their cages. Loud enough to wake the dead.

Buy a cat. They'll be happy to remain in their cages.
