My daughter called me this morning. Her husband's university in Duesseldorf, Germany, has approved his completing of his thesis from the States. They are moving home permanently on March 14th!

Also, pray that Ben's immigration paperwork is completed in time. They are in the second phase now--this was the part where I had to sponsor him. If not completed in time, he can still come over. He will not be able to leave the country until his paperwork is complete, which can be completed from our side of the pond.

Pray, too, for Ben's family. His mother is very upset about his moving to the States. His father is ok, he plans on coming over for quite a few vacations!

It feels wonderful to have good news to report.

I have good news, which is bittersweet, too. Terry's youngest sister just announced that she is pregnant. What a blessing. At the same time, though, I had the strongest desire to share the news with Terry. A new little life coming.
Come on now.... I thought I had the corner on that market... Several times I've come across something, just realized something, or was enlightened about something, and for a fleeting moment, I couldn't wait to get home and tell Patsy...and then the world crashes down... :-( Boy, I can hardly wait for that little part of this whole experience to pass... No fun at all...
I am happy for your sister-in-law. Perhaps this will ease some of her sorrow. Just when we think the darkness will never go away, God sends us a little beam of sunlight to show there is a new day dawning. We just need to be patient.

Jean......
I'm so happy for you! God has his hand on you, that's obvious!

I often think that when we feel like turning around and sharing something with our loved one that has passed on, that we must do it!

I often hold my hands out and talk to my husband. I know that his spirit is only an arms length away from me.

I believe that the reason we forget that they are gone is because that they aren't. We can still talk and share, and they will hear us.

One of my last memories of my husband is of him tipping his head back and pursing his lips for a kiss, while sitting in his reclining chair.

I often stop by his reclining chair, bend down and give him a kiss. I know he feels everything I do and feel in his heart He is encouraging me daily to move forward and live my life here with joy until we can be together again.
