I hope you don't mind too much. This is just a matter of curiosity. Most of you know that my husband is a Continuing Anglican, so I realized that there is a rather unusual occurrence on the western calendar this year. How do the Anglican services change to reflect both the Feast and Good Friday - or do they change?
I've heard that in Orthodoxy the services are even more special when Assumption falls on Pascha (which is very rare and can only occur on the Julian Calendar), but I've never thought about what would happen if it falls on Good Friday. I'll ask at church tonight.
