Good Sunday Morning to you All,
I consider myself a newbie even though I've had an account on this site for 3 years now. I started my spiritual journey 8 yrs ago in sunny Hawaii. I continued my path when I went to Shreveport, LA. There, I found wonderful friends and new founded family members to support me in my journey to the Lord. Then, a year and half ago, my wife and I went to Fairbanks, AK (currently) where I'm now stationed for a total of 3 yrs.
Anyway, been slowly continuing my spiritual health and learning more about the Father. Last year was a eye-opening time in my family's life. Wife and I are proud parents of a beautiful little boy, Jayden Christian-Patrick, but not without a challenge. Wife was out of work earlier than expected and almost lost both of them during delivery. However, with God's love and prayer's we got through it and they are both very healthy.
Then, things started to get tough for me on my job, family (death of my father), and being a new parent. Lots of stress and depression began to settle in. Things started to get better after those dark days but then came back with avengence. Things were going well prior to the xmas holidays but the devil came calling once we returned home to AK from PA.
Anyways, after those additional dark days...I just "felt" something. I went home for my father's memorial and something came across me. The death and then the spirit of my father came to me and felt loved and know that he was going to be taken care. Well...at that moment I knew my journey is going to take a new turn.
Well, with all that...I can say now that I believe and have "felt" the spirit with me. So, on 14 Feb I came to the Lord and was baptized. It was a great day for myself and my family.
That's a little about myself. Its funny that I came back here, because I have alot of online accounts and never wrote them all down, but I got a birthday message back in Sept from this site and haven't deleted it. Things happen for a reason so here I am. Thanks for reading and look forward in talking with you all. Have a wonderful day!!
