CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Y'all ever had authentic Mexican? I have been to Mexico twice now, and I am going back in December. There is a resturant there that makes the salsa right there at the table. There is nothing in the US that I have ever tried that was that hot except for maybe Japanese err...whatever that stuff was.

Three pastors met one day for lunch. During the conversation one pastor asked another, "How do you decide to split up the tithe?"
He said, "Well, we draw a circle on the floor and toss the tithe into the air. What lands inside the circle we give to God, what lands outside we keep."
The other responded, "Interesting. We do the same, only we give what lands outside the circle to God and keep the other.
The third pastor was silent.
The other two looked at him and asked him what they did. He replied, "Well, we too draw the circle; and we toss the tithe into the air as well. We figure God will take whatever He wants, leaving the rest for us."
