It might be debatable, but Connie Rubirosa (played by Alana de la Garza) from Law and Order might be. In the episode "Rapture" she and the ADA are in a church and to counter a witness's reluctance to testify she quickly recites a verse from Matthew 24. Later Cutter asks her "Matthew Chapter 24? You study the Bible?” She answers, “I prepare for court, I prepare for church.”

*shrugs* I haven't seen too many of the new episodes, but I'd like to see what else she might bring to the show.

Dana Scully in The X-Files was a devout Catholic and had a pretty firm stance on her faith.

Depends what you mean. She was a strong Catholic, but some Christians would be against her for that. She also expressed Universalist tendencies, especially in 'all things' (written and directed by Gillian Anderson) where she finds her spiritual message in a Buddhist temple, and gets into New Age faith healing. Also she was mainly going through a semi-crisis of faith.

Like all things (pun intended) ''good Christian characters'' is subjective. Howeve, though he has been mentioned, I would suggest Father Mulcahey too, and Cadfael.

Florida Evans from Good Times!

Though she married an atheist on the show. Esther Rolle left the show because of that storyline. Saying she would only return if they had Florida leave him over that because that was something her or Florida would never do. I have to say I respect Ms. Rolle over that.

*It was sad when I later saw her "hawking" those tv ads for psychics...cause she couldn't get better acting jobs.

*Although her role was toned down... Sue Thomas, FBI(EYE) the lady is a Christian.
Also... Angie Harmon is a Christian; she and her husband moved their children from California to NC because she wanted them raised away from the "spotlight" and lifestyles out there.

I would say Dr. Turk from Scrubs, but he did have premarital sex - but when you look at the earlier Christmas episode, he talks a lot about how important faith is.

Double D (my avatar )! In the Christmas episode, he dressed up like an angel and said something like, "Hark! The herald angels sing... I bring you tidings of great joy" to show Eddy the true meaning of Christmas. He is also the "moral voice" of the group, though he does have his share of slipups.

Dr. Cox's sister Paige - another from Scrubs, although she only shows up in one episode.

Eve Genoard from the anime Baccano! is probably the best example from this list. Very inspiring. You would have to get through the gore and melee of Baccano! to get to her, though.

I'm pulling these out of the wall stuffings because I can't think of any more that people haven't already mentioned XD WHERE ARE ALL THE CHRISTIAN CHARACTERS? And Angela Martin doesn't count...

Father Dowling, I guess. Actually, the father of the family, the character played by Tom Selleck in Blue Bloods was pretty good, calling for family prayer, etc. but then he had a fall from grace, you might say. His character is a widower and he had an affair. I'm hoping for improvement, because this show has potential.
