Going to get Baptised :-)

Need to tell someone, well have rang my husband and told him but thats it lol

I have asked my Pastor today if I can get Baptised and he said Yes

I was saved in 2002 and then after a few years backslide for about 7.5 years . I rededicated my life to the Lord in April this year and although I have such a fear of water I spoke to the Pastor today and asked him

I just feel this is the next step in my life with Jesus and I am so happy.

Not sure yet when it will be but hopefully soon

I had a fear of water too (almost drowned as a child and I have a busted nose so I can't hold it underwater). I grew up in a church that practiced full immersion and it kept me from being baptized. In the Lutheran church they pour. When I discovered that baptism just needed water connected with the Word and didn't require immersion, I was so happy.
