My husband and I are going through a divorce. He does not have a job and I just have a part time job. We are living at my mother in laws house. I am in Wisconsin right now and after four months that the divorce is finalized I want to move back to California with my family To live and go back to school and work out there. will the judge grant the divorce if we are living under the same roof but different rooms? I can explain to him that neither of us can afford our own place and I plan to move back with family to CA when the divorce is finalized.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I don't know about Wisconsin but I would not try it in Michigan. My former sis-in-law tried that while living at the parents in law's place. The attorney told her to move out or the divorce would not be granted. But again that was almost 20 years ago.
