God's Word.

Reading in your Word,
brings me much joy.
It strengthens me,
fills me up like food does
to the body.

Thinking of your Word,
gives me more clarity.
It comforts my soul,
whispers truth to me.

Your Word stands forever,
it is written down
in eternity ink.
Nothing can break it apart,
no one except for you.

Your blood was shed,
your Word is soaked in it.
Sacrificial and pure lamb of God,
free and holy grace given to us.

There is great power,
in the Word of God.
It is our sword,
it is sharp and of great use.

God's Word never rusts,
it also never get's dull.
God's Word is always well sharpened,
it is always ready for use.

Read God's Word,
with faith.
Meditate on God's Word,
and apply it into your life.

it I'd amazing how reading the Bible causes hope, joy and trust to grow within us.

True. Though it can also confront us and point out some truths we may not always like getting at times. When we wish to grow more in Christ, we will be open for getting corrected in the Holy Spirit as well. But it may not always be as pleasant, the truth can also be hard facing even though it is important for us too.
