God's Will

I found a passage a few days ago, while looking for something in particular, about God's will. It stated that man cannot really go against God's will, for if you do something contrary to Him, then it is still within his will or his plan. Now I cannot find this particular scripture again. I simply cannot remember where I ran across it. I was looking through Deuteronomy, Samuel, I & II Corinthians, Galatians, Romans, and Genesis at the time. There may have been others I looked through as well. Does anyone know this verse by chance?
