God's protection today

I just have to tell someone. God has been doing such amazing things lately.
And this morning, on my way to work, He protected me from totaling my car.

I came around a curve (I live in the mountains) and suddenly a big deer bolted right across my path. I had about 10 feet to react and brake.
All I had time for, was to cry out, "Oh, Jesus!" and it was over.

I should have hit that thing. I have no clue how I didn't.
In fact, the trajectory of that deer went right through my right headlight.
All I can guess is that it jumped just right to jump over that corner of my car.
But it didn't jump. I only saw it running. I can't understand it.

I know, my '99 Corolla is little, but it's not that tiny.
It should have been totaled.
Except for God.
I've been in awe all day over this.

I have had the same experience. Twice I should have hit large deer that were right in my path on the nighttime interstate. Both times the deer seemed to vanish just before the impact that I was certain was imminent. Thank you Lord.

I would like to think I would.. but really, only God knows the answer to your question.

I certainly don't deserve such favor from Him... But today, He showed me favor. And I will praise and glorify Him for what He has done.
