Whew! It must feel good to get that out of your system. I do not believe that it is intellectually, emotionally or even spiritually healthy to live our lives in constant expectation of the end times. We should live our lives optimistically with a view to making this world a better place not just today or tomorrow but into the far distant future.

I'm an end-times person, but you should change your mindset about the end times.

I learned from God the healthy mindset. The end time naysayers in their mindset to ignore it are wrong, but also wrong is the doom-saying. Both are wrong, and both reject God's inspired word.

There is a 3rd path, the true path, revealed to God's church for those who walk with God. It is not doomsaying, and it is not fear, and it accepts that we are at the end of the age. And what a great end it will be!

God will only bring the end to pass when the church has fulfilled it's role with success. Until that time, the end is stalled indefinitely. It wont come to pass, until, God's church by God's grace fulfills its calling.

11 Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. 12 Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. 13 This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ. - Ephesians 4

But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. - 2 Corinthians 3:18

The future glory of this Temple will be greater than its past glory, says the LORD of Heaven's Armies. - Haggai 2:9

So all the doom-saying is wrong, we should prophesy faith, hope and love, because all prophesy is to edify the church.

The church will not perish, it will not end in defeat, it will end in victory, the greatest revival to ever happen on Earth is about to occur, it will be supernatural, and it will exceed God's power manifested on Earth from the birth of man, surpassing all generations which preceded us.

And this supernatural power will manifest as it has never manifest before because in the OT their grace was a promise, and their law was judgement. The judgement of God is not the character of God, and so when God reveals his character of grace and love through his church, that manifestation of God's power will be greater than all other manifestations which happened by partial revelation. It will exceed the signs and wonders of Revelation. The truth of Christ on the cross, dead and raised, manifest through us, to the world as it has never been before, with signs and wonders greater than ever before following. It was Christ who said we would do the greater works, and the works will be greater.

Tommy Hicks confirmed this in 1961 with a true prophecy that was not doomsaying but edification.

You are describing the Tribulation which follows the catching away of God's Church. Your 'warning' is intended for those who are not a part of that I think?

I have been feeling this way as well. I have felt an urgency within me, it is as if the Holy Spirit is being strengthened within me so much so in a way that it feels like it is quickening me. I feel myself maturing and growing in heavenly knowledge that the Lord is placing within my mind. I am constantly in prayer and seeking the Lord through everything, in and out of season. I cannot rest until I am truly walking where He is desiring for me to walk and to live the calling that He desires me to. I must say that it hasn't been an easy journey thus far, but I can't just be lax and sit back when I see a whole host of others that are truly not walking in the Lord and abiding in the Holy Spirit. So many churches are not preaching truth, but rather half hearted truth with sugar coated seeker friendly motives. I feel like many people are walking around spiritually dead and claim with their lips to love God, but their heart is the farthest thing from Him. I don't see many believers walking in the whole armor of God, taking up their cross, denying themselves and worshipping the Lord in Spirit and truth, it brings an uneasy to my heart when I see those that are even close to me walking blindly after the things of this world but not seeking God and His righteousness.

But I feel at times, the Lord pressing upon me many words to be said unto the Body of Christ. Now is the time more than ever to truly seek the Lord while He may still be found. Now is the time to work out our salvation with fear and trembling because I fear for so many who will hear the most awful thing imagineable " Depart from me, you worker of iniquity, I never knew you". I can't fathom that. It will be too late to turn around then. It will be too late to do anything and so many follow and go down the broad way to destruction. I constantly look at my life, and take every single thing in prayer because I cannot imagine living a life that is totally void of God and his direct intervention and guidance. I cry out daily for His leading and He has never failed me. There have been many things that I feel God leading me to say to others but I believe that I currently deal with fear which makes me fearful and afraid to say these things to those that are living in sin and in lukewarm lifestyles. I want to see hearts revived and set ablaze to the glory of Christ so much so that I feel like this is a unique calling that the Lord presses upon me every year. I have agony in my heart for lost souls and I want to reach them in whatever way the Lord desires me to. I believe whatever gifts I have, the Lord has given for reasons and I just want to bring Him glory so badly, that I cry out in prayer in such deep ways that at times I feel God's presence so deeply I cry out.

The Holy Spirit is definitely being poured out heavily upon those that are truly seeking God above all else and I feel in the Spirit the words that we truly are being strengthened in mighty ways that no man can understand because it is not man's doing, it is the Spirit of God and not 1,000,000 demons in hell can ever nor will ever stop that!!

We have to be equipped and ready to endure until the end! I felt everything that you said in this post and believe me dear sister, you are not alone. The Lord is using many as vessels to reach others in the faith. We need each other and the Lord is not letting us go down without a fight! (spiritually ofcourse lol)

You have prophesied correctly. All you said will come to pass soon. Within months but not years.

I am a person who hears from God from time to time. He has told me many future world stage events, in my bed room as I have prayed. All of them in the past every prophecy, every dream, he gave me came true. He told me the Steve Irwin would die and he did shortly after. He told me many other such things.

I also feel God is revealing these things. Here is what I posted on my churches website this morning.

A few Christmas’s ago probably 2, God sent me a dream, at the time I felt it was God. But it made no sense to me. It was about Jesus return. The dream was long and showed, some things about the time, and persecution that would occur. But now for why I feel this dream is of God. One part of the dream was a scene where I saw a car being repaired, by prayer, and in the same scene I prayed for a person’s eye, again in faith. That was in the dream and made no sense to me. But what happened was the next day when I woke up, went into my day, I was at my mother’s house and my sister was there, we had had the car fixed on that day, the same day my nephew bumped into a table in the back of a car there and I quickly prayed for his eye. I saw that as a confirmation that the dream had come from God at that time, but the dream still made no sense to me.

There was another part of the dream where I saw 3 police men, then a great wave came, a huge tsunami. In that part of the dream I saw my wife.

Now two years later (a few weeks ago in now time), I had three police men on the door step, bought there by my wife, who thought I was going crazy when I mentioned that I felt God was telling me I would have to suffer.

But why do I say all of this. I never go to YouTube, but I felt to look up some prophecies on youtube. The first one was a prophecy by Brian Cain, on Benny Hinns show in December 2015. He prophesied that the USA would see a war with Russia, and troubling times, I had a similar dream of a Russian invasion being in the now . This got me interested and I started to search or other videos.

And please pastors, church folk, we live in a culture where many people have claimed Jesus is coming back, by trying to predict dates, and it has scared us all to think about the topic. But I am a person who NEVER, I repeat NEVER, have believed we were in the end times, and NEVER preached it. But twice while I have been out preaching the gospel I prophesied, and Jesus told the people “Jesus is coming back you had better get ready”, It shocked me for I never believed it in the past. So back to you tube, I went to you tube, there are many people having dreams and visons and they are all the same, and claiming that the LORD told them, three things. There will be a giant wave, a literal massive Tsunami to hit the East Coat of the USA, and Florida, so big it will destroy most of the area there. Secondly but maybe not in this order, there will be a war with Russia. And Thirdly Obama will be the anti Christ, he will embody the anti Christ spirit of Revelation, asking us all to get a chip in our hands or forehead. Then there will be suffering for the name of Christ.

Now I know I would have lost a lot of you just there, I know when I heard people saying these things for years I would mock them thinking THEY were deceived.

In my end time dream I also saw the Tsmani, and it is only now, in the same season that I have had police on my door, bought by my wife, that I come to believe these things are now true. There will be a Tsunami hit Florida caused by an asteroid. Which will unleash the beast of revelation.

Please don’t mock me, the day is to come some day, is it not possibly this generation, I think months not years. Why am I so convinced many people are getting the same confirming dreams. Just this week in Florida a Christian woman received a vison so vivid about a Tsnami about to hit, and God telling her to leave. So vivid was the dream, so urgent, that she sold her house, and has bought one in the mountains.

A boy in Israel died was revived, he went to heaven, and God told him he is coming back. And even told him Obama would be the beast of revelation. People if Jesus is coming back we need to be getting our hearts ready for suffering. For months the LORD impressed upon me the verse “you have been appointed to suffering”, over and over again.

Please if all you do , is cook, play computer games, watch the footy. Get on your knees and repent for the natural life is soon to be over.

Rev: 13:1 And I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and on his horns ten diadems, and upon his heads names of blasphemy.

When this wave hits, I believe the beast will be revealed.
Look I am not asking you to just believe me, but please, pray like a wild thing for wisdom, and revelation.

All of you who believe, expend every effort into the gospel at this time. Be wise about how you share, but share. It is no longer a time to think about tomorrow there will not be that statement "tomorrow" for much longer.

You sound like a very sincere believer. But this is a false teaching the church is not going to be caught away.

Rev 13:6-7 And he opened his mouth for blasphemies against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, even them that dwell in the heaven. And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and there was given to him authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation.

We are about to suffer, and you must be ready in case you have to carry a cross of suffering, as Christ said "carry your cross", and "they loved not their lives even unto death".

But be comforted, not every one of us will die, or suffer. David never did, Joseph never did. You don't earn salvation by suffering. Many will die however, and suffer painfully. Prepare your heart, in case you suffer. It will happen, it is God's time. Those of us who suffer will have a brighter resurrection.

@FutureAndAHope , I strongly recommend caution regarding believing what you are hearing. You think it is from God, yet Jesus says (Luke 21:7) "He replied: “Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am he,’ and, ‘The time is near.’ Do not follow them."

In my mind, it is not impossible God has spoken to you, but I highly doubt it (I have heard the idea that Obama is the antichrist over and over, but he has exhibited no such power). If Obama suddenly becomes ruler of the world or something (do you know how much war this would require?), I would take your prophesies more seriously.

In the meantime, remember that people have been prophesying about the 2nd coming of Jesus since Jesus left. Yes, He might come back tomorrow. Or He might not.

Is there any reason to believe that Satanic forces couldn't have predicted that?

You are trying to say that this proves that Christians will not be taken away before the tribulation, but that's not what this verse says -- it merely says that there will be war with "the saints" -- ie, those who follow God. It is not inconceivable that if all the Christians were to disappear, a significant portion of the world would become Christian. (That said, I make no comment regarding which view is true - I have no idea.)

People if Jesus is coming back we need to be getting our hearts ready for suffering.

The correct message is: Jesus is coming back, and we must get ourselves ready regardless of when that happens.

In my opinion, you should get yourself right with God as if He was coming back in a day or two, but plan as if He was coming back at the end of your life (or later).

Christians should be ready to suffer persecution from other people (for God's sake) at any time. Many in the world are already doing this - Christian persecution is spread in many areas of the world.

They are definitely a symptom of a deeper problem. It seems much of the culture has lost any concept of the eternal and the afterlife. Instead of looking for answers to life, they are out chasing illusory things on their phones. Remarkable.

I hear some people read books, go to restaurants, and even spend their time working to make money.

Hi all,

Just thought I would interject. I made some statements before about things that I said were going to happen. Now that was not based upon my visions, or dreams, but rather upon others that I had been listening to. I took them quite seriously due to their visions and dreams having similar content to some I had had.

In reality I don't know if these things will happen. Rather I just have a sneaking suspicion that they may be true.
