God's Creation

Thanks to Nasa and the Discovery Channel we now know that the psalmist in Psalm 8 was only aware of less than 1% of what we understand as the vastness of God's creation and outer space.

I suspect that even now that we still actually only know less than 1% of the vastness of God's creation and outer space. I know also that the vast universe is dwarfed by God's other creation, Heaven.

Does that put into perspective the second part of the Psalmist's declaration: ' What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him?'

Perhaps the Psalmist knew things we don't
But anyone can look at someone talking about the sky being blue and say "well I know it's blue, and much more, so perhaps I know all he knows and more"
There's also understanding and to apply and believe in the right faith
Indeed knowledge has increased as the Bible says
