God's character is good!

Those who recken that God is a big meanee and evidently not smart enough to have come up with a perfect plan, but that He must instead have a flawed plan so as to HAVE to use bad things such as sickness and disease to help us, retain this flawed thinking for many selfish reasons. Not the least of these is so that they do not have to admit that they are fallen like the rest of us; mere men in need of a savior and incapable of mustering up even the smallest of Faith on their own that Jesus said could solve our physical dilemas here on earth (move mountains).

Their standing overall reason and fall-back position for their choice to deny God's supreme goodness in this manner, however, is so that "false hope" is not given to folks who are enduring the effects of sickness and disease in their physical bodies. Feigned goodness!

But there is no such thing as "false hope". *Hope that really isn't hope...IS NOT HOPE!!!

Frank, healing is for today as well as deliverance, prosperity and all the rest but if some choose to accept just salvation, ie: being saved that is their choice. I know it has been rough lately but do you think perhaps this is hard?

I was stuck in that mindset believing that lie for many years. That sometimes it was God's will to heal and "sigh" sometimes it wasn't. I had unwittingly put myself under that delusion because I was still quite young in the Lord and I didn't want to admit that I wasn't as sanctified as I thought I was. I clung to that junk for more than ten years before God opened my eyes to the Truth.

Your estimation would seem to be valid.

Considering that:
1. God is all powerful and can do anything.
2. God is all wise and always knows the perfect way to do anything.
3. God is perfect and will never behave outside of His nature.
4. Can cannot painted into a corner where He has to behave in a manner other than His perfect nature and will.
5. Therefore to suggest God is the source of evil is error.

Wild Prayer Session??? Ohhhh.. I want to be there!! One of the churches we go to has NO Plan on Sunday.. we just come.. and see where the Spirit wants to lead.. and it is so awesome because He always exceeds anything we might have otherwise planned..
