Some of the best advice I can give to someone who is concerned about what may happen, is to depend on God and His bounty that he has given us. What I mean about God's bounty is all of the food that He provides, that is growing in a pasture or woods nearby. I suggest learning which plants that one can eat, which ones are used for medicine, which are also poisonous. They are everywhere, and if you know what to look for, you should not have to worry about food, or medicine, for God has provided us with them. There are many different resources on the web.
