  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

God showed me that He accepts me for who I am!

Hey everyone. I am a bisexual Christian. A few days ago, as I was leaving my Mom's house, God gave me a sign to show me that He does love me for who I am. It was an amazing sign really. I didn't doubt His love but it was amazing to have a sign like this. There was no rain nowhere around and it wasn't even forecasted to rain. However, as I left my Mom's house, a very small rainbow appeared in the sky out of nowhere. I don't know why it formed other than it was an act of God. It wasn't humid out and it hadn't been raining. It wasn't even forecasted to rain but yet, there it was, a beautiful rainbow. Praise God for his greatness!

Thank you all so much! I will admit that I had a different idea before but I now believe that God has called me to either be celibate or to be with a man. Regardless, that rainbow was a wonderful sign of God's acceptance of me. I love rainbows.
