God, My Protector!

You are with me Lord,
at all times.
You never leave my side,
I can always count on You.

Though I have many enemies,
I know that You are mighty to save.
You give me strenght when I am weak,
You give me wisdom when I am in need.

It amazes me,
knowing that Your voice is powerful.
Your voice is full of majesty,
how beautiful is that!

In Your glory Lord,
it thunders mightily.
Seeing Your glory,
is blindingly beautiful.

In Your care,
I am always safe.
I never have to worry nor fear about anything,
when You are with me.

My Lord, everything about You,
is great and beautiful!
I may not have truly seen Your face,
but still I picture You as beautiful.

The world may not see it this way,
but I do Lord!
In You I am complete!
With You I truly belong!

Even if the world may fall apart around me,
You will be there with me.

Even if all people would go against me,
You would be there to protect me and fight for me.

You are my shield,
and You are my sword.
You are a mighty warrior,
and You are my God!

Yeah, I thought that God is also pictured as a shield in the bible, meaning He protects us, and we know that during Jesus Christ's return He will have a sword coming out from His mouth which He will strike the nations with it, yet the sword is also seen as God's Word, and Jesus is also called The Word of God.

And the last two parts are also very clear ones too! He is the mightiest Warrior, and He is God over all!
