  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

There are two inevitable things that I know in Life for certain. 1. God is real. 2. I am not him.

In the U.S., under the Constitution, people can believe however they wish to believe, and I respect that right, because we all have to choose, if we believe or not in life.

To me, God is the Originator of Morality. He is the Originator of Logic, of Science, and of Authenticity. Because to truly find someone that strives to be those things in today's society, or even close to it, is to find a shooting star. It is to find something rare within today's society. "To be a true believer of God, is to strive to be more like him." Which is perfection. Obviously, no human is perfect, nor ever will be. Myself included.

Conviction. Ya either got it, or ya don't. And if ya don't, well, then that's between your soul and God. Without true Conviction, you can pretend to be whomever or whatever you want in life, but God will know thee difference.

Thee further Life goes, thee less Authentic Life Gets, and thee closer to thee return of Christ comes. This is my belief anyways. Peter K. written September 18th, 2022.

people can believe however they wish to believe,

Personaly I would change that to.
People can believe what ever they have a rational explanation for.

But then I also believe there is no rational explanation for atheism. How do you prove a negative.

I said this, and you quoted me upon it: "people can believe, however they wish to believe." as I was talking about the First Amendment, under the United States of America Constitution.

God gave us Free Will, and with that comes choice. However illogical and irrational, and immoral a human's choice may be, it is our choice to choose to burn in hell or to accept him as our Savior.

To question God, about giving us free will, is to question God, and that is morally wrong.

Something, I do find majorly "ironic" though. On many non-believers(athiests, agnostics, and others), death beds, if given the chance, and have minutes to live, they ask God into their hearts, and for his forgiveness.

My question is quite simple. If they were so certain during life, that God wasn't real, then why are they so easily willing to ask him for forgiveness, just before death?

I'll tells ya why, it's because when most non-believers are actually put to the test, of their non faith, most are afraid to die, and afraid to die a non believer. They don't wish to take the "chance" that what they lived by their whole life, may be false, and that they will burn in a lake of fire for eternity. So they have the fear of God in them, and the truth comes out of them, in their final moments on Earth.
