God is Calling

Your towering hopes into a hallow stare

Sounds of laughter drowned now by a screeching siren
Fields of flowers wither to dried weeds
Friends and family fade into a tattered photograph
Carefree school days enter sleepless nights

Eternity rings louder, the grave larger

Can't you hear?

Nice meaningful poem. Its so true we all have broken dreams, friends and fractured families. The older we get the certianity of death comes closer. But Jesus Christ has spoken for those who trust and follow Him there is no reason to fear. But we all do have some anxiety about the transition from life to being with Jesus Christ. Does it cause us concern as none of has died yet? Yes it does.
