praying.Hello Jesus just saved me but I think i am going through a dry season. I feel pretty numb. I think it is harbored sin that is causing this.
I am positive that God hates me. I found 3 verses that disprove the myth that God loves everyone.
Malachi 1:2-3
I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob’s brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob, and I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons in the wilderness.
Romans 9:13
As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.
These verses imply that God does indeed hate some people.
this is not only impossible, but a lie of the Devil. you are a child of God, His precious creation, and you are loved by Him.I have concluded that God(Christ) cannot save a person like me.
There's a book that helped me with a similar problem, it's a newly illustrated Old Testament, whose modern visuals have helped me to refocus my sad feelings. A problem with many churches is that they are so busy trying to attract or hold members and forget the needs of new members. I had found myself asking, What now? I believe this is where you are now. May I ask what you were expecting to happen? Read John 3:1-15 You may be experiencing the same thing Nicodemus experienced. Whatever became of Nicodemus? John 19:38-42I am confused. I am not entirely sure if the Holy Spirit left me or i am in a "dry season" I dont have the fruits of the Spirit anymore. I am depressed, not wanting to do much. I don't have any genuine love for others. ☹️
This is a limit you put on Jesus.I have concluded that God(Christ) cannot save a person like me.
