  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Why is God giving people gold teeth? Is it just for dentistry purposes?

But you could do a lot of things... silver, but I agree gold is the best, and God would only give us the best.

And I have seen gold dust too. Gold dust is cool stuff.

Now then, I am getting some dentistry done tonight, should I be believing God for gold teeth? I just came across the gold teeth thing, and I was unaware of it before... but I see something about it the very day I am going to the dentist after 5 or more years... first time going since I became a Christian.

I want some gold teeth!

Believe for it ... but if it does not happen don't be disappointed. I recently had a hernia operation, I had been believing God for full healing prior, but it did not happen, I had to go the natural route.

God CAN do anything, but it does not mean He MUST do it.

Haha, I have been learning, to just let my heart trust him.

God has healed me of a bunch of things. God wants to heal us supernaturally like you wanted.

But I have found that if I get into my mind on stuff, get into my doctrines, it just makes it harder to believe God. I been believing for my eyes to be healed, but then I am now just trusting him and what he says about healing.

I'm growing still. When I take my glasses off, at times, my eyes improve greatly. The healing is there, God is there... I just trust him.

Gold teeth? I'm not sure why some are upset about this. Seems like Yahweh can heal anyway He chooses. If it's not for that, it's still His call.

FutureAndAHope, I understand what you're saying. Believe in His divine healing, too. Even though He didn't heal you prior to the surgery, think that He has His purposes for things going the way they do. Even though we might not ever know what those are. Like Razare said, I'm finding more and more, we just have to trust Him.

Wasn't that a 1990s thing?

Not if its a God thing!

Gold teeth are for today. Plus, that gold dust. The believers I roll with, get gold dust sometimes.

Just today, fire fell from heaven on us, I never seen nothing like it. And before that and ever since, I have been in ministry all day. Was ministering at the market on the streets, helped a man and ministered to him, prayed for blessing for others, then drove home and ministered to 3 people.

One child was brought to me as a divine appointment by God, I prayed for the fear to leave him in the name of Jesus. I told him about Jesus and Father God. And God supernaturally healed him of fear. And praying came to natural to him, after he was healed, and he wanted to pray for me. And I asked him what he wanted to pray for me, and he said my eyes, which I have been praying for healing. He prayed for them.

Then he prayed for my prosperity and I accept both.

As we were leaving, poison ivy got on him or something, so I prayed the itching leave him and it left supernaturally.

Then I ministered the gospel to my brother-in-law, and then God had another man call me and I talked with him. I will be inviting him to a water baptism event to give his life to Jesus.

While I was at the market, fire fell on us from heaven, I'm sold out for Jesus. It's like reaching out and touching God.

Back in the 1990s the Toronto Blessing took testimonies and compared them to actual dental records, I think only 1% or so could not be explained. So perhaps the "bless me" crowd got a little too excited because it happened to one person.

Yeshua said if you don't believe in me, believe the signs and wonders - then you'll get the connection "If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him." John 10:37-38

Comparisons have to be done in faith.

People don't get it. When the Israelites sent spies into the land to bring back a testimony, there were 2 testimonies both factually correct.

But they were totally different testimonies. And the testimony from the majority was a lie. It was a factual lie. It was factual deception. The testimony of Caleb and Joshua was true and of God.

If you bring upon yourself a mantle of unbelief, a spirit in the kingdom of satan and then you use that satanic spirit to try and determine if miracles of Jesus Christ actually happened, what sort of answer will you get? You will get bad results because the person is operating by satan.

I agree this stuff can be verified, but the verification itself never convinces anyone of anything, except by where the spirit of Jesus Christ is involved. So this verification business is often nonsense in the spirit because it is anti-Christ rather than Christ.

But by the Spirit of God, you can tell whether gold dust, or jewels or gold teeth are real. Just seek God about it, he provides the answers, not the world, not the spirit of satan.

If the miracle is "people are getting gold fillings that did not have gold fillings before" then examining if the report is true is actually part of what God told us to do. I'd counsel to not call God satan.

I have to ask -- what would be the point of such a gift? How would it bring people closer to Jesus? Why is it not mentioned in the Bible anywhere? And why would God replace natural teeth with gold ones? Why hasn't this phenomenon existed since the beginning of the church?

It just seems really extra-biblical to me, and seems to distract people from the actual gospel. It seems to cause people to expect more and more signs and wonders.

I am not trying to be argumentative. I am honestly looking for an intelligent discussion about this. I think we Christians need to examine our practices and make sure that they line up with Scripture. Otherwise, we are opening ourselves up to possible error.

I have never been in a congregation that actually believed in this, but I had friends who were involved in churches that did. There are also some popular Christian authors and speakers that promote this type of thing, and so I think it is important to examine it.

We had a missionary that was supported by my church when I was young. He had a ministry for healing of teeth. He prayed for a woman in the church with a tooth problem and it got a ruby filling.

Why settle for gold when you can get gems?
