I would like to thank God for being God.
I am in the midst of a breakup from a very long relationship. It hasn't been easy and I had fallen from my faith in God and let my walk with Him faulter.
In my suffering and devestation, I [literally] cried to Him and pleaded for Him to be here with me now. And He was/is!! In a display of totally unforseen circumstances, God sent me help, support and comfort from all directions. From online friends I chat with, one who actually gave me versus of encouragement. another from two long time christian friends that know my ex and I mutually, from a former coworker and friend who ironically is a budist(God can use anyone) and from My earthly Father, who I has not truly been a part of my life and is not a Christian. I have been surrounded by more support than I believed I had or would be available to me. God sent in the cavalry in bold fashion. In the process He again demonstrated that He truly is with us. and hears us. I was able to share my life situation, faith and its importance to my father, who listened to me for maybe the first time.
I do not feel the despair and fear of isolation I once had. I can actually touch the blessings of God in the people that He has sent to comfort me.
Thank you God. You are there. You do listen, and you do act.
