  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

God is a God of great kindness and He has showed many mercies and compasions to His children. We may have been blest with health or a good job, it may be many friends, or a nice house, it may be a dear spouse, it may be a deep and precious relationship with Him, it may be a church blessing whatever it is we have been blest. Yet in our lives there is often ONE thing that still gets us, and hurts us. Naaman the captian if Syria had everything yet he had a BUT in his life, BUT he was a LEPER. Hannah had a lovelly husband BUT she was BARREN.The land where Elisha the prophet resided was fair and pleasnt BUT the water was bad. Yet the wonderful thing about all these BUTS in scripture is that in these occassions the BUTS became BLESSINGS. I have ONE BUT in my life and it hurts me, and yet one day my BUT will be removed and become a blessing to me. The BUT of Hannah made her praying woman. The BUT of Naaman made him a beleiver in God. The BUT of the land in Elishas day displayed Gods power to the people. The BUT in your life will turn around for your good.
May be your BUT is "But I have no real Friend, BUT I have no dear beloved spouse, BUT I have no children to care for" Whatever it is rest in the Lord and love life to the full as possible and in time God will turn the BUT into Blessing.
Be encouraged :p) John
