Why is there emphasis on prayer?
God reserves His special blessings to those who come to Him in faith. He desires a relationship with us that will bring great blessings to our lives.
He will speak to our hearts as we seek Him in faith through His word and prayer.
He desires to help us grow in our understanding of him and truth.
If we open our hearts to his grace, we will find great blessings. If we turn from Him and truth, we will become blind, hardened in sin and increasingly corrupt.
This corruption will prove destrutive in our lives and the lives of those close to us.
This is the nature of sin and evil, and this is not the nature of God.
God resires to bless so He encourages us to seek Him in Prayer.
