CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

,You're welcome. I prayed for you last night. I really feel for you going through your faith with your husband being hostile toward Jesus. That must be so difficult. I prayed for God to give you strength and for your husband to have the scales lifted from his eyes.
Just remember where you were before you accepted Jesus. Man is naturally hostile toward God. Your husband is being blinded by Satan. He really doesn't know better. Plus Satan is doing everything he can to stop your husband from coming to know the Lord. He knows it's very likely now that you are a light in your husband's life.
Keep your eyes on Jesus and never compromise your faith or love for Him. God will honor your devotion to Him. Just keep praying for your husband and never give up.
I also recommend a book, "Surviving a Spiritual Mismatch" by Lee and Leslie Strobel. It's very uplifting and has a 30 day prayer plan in the back. The Power of a Praying Wife by Stormie Omartian is excellent as well.

when I read your words. I guess I just feel like there really IS someone out there that cares. I get so caught up in the (what I call) "Fake Christians" that I forget about the real ones. It seems like people just don't care anymore. Thank you brothers and sisters for your support. God Bless you all.
