  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

List scripture that remind us what we should be thankful for...

Also feel free to mention what else you are thankful for...

O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever. 1 Chronicles 16:34

I am thankful for Christian friends who hold me accountable.

"I will give to the LORD the thanks due to his righteousness, and I will sing praise to the name of the LORD, the Most High" Psalm 7:17 :amen:

I am blessed and thankful for the opportunity we have in North America to worship our LORD without fear of persecution. JESUS warned us that we would suffer for HIS sake and many in other parts of the world are living that truth even now as I write. Let us never forget the freedom we have and hold the persecuted church in our prayers always.:prayer:

love and blessings, in JESUS,

~ Ephesians 2:12-13 ~ remember that ... you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ.

 Thanx be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who loved us so much, that He made a way for us to draw near to Him.

From Romans 12:19, 21
"Never take revenge, my friends, but instead let God's anger do it. For the scripture says, "I will take revenge, I will pay back, says the Lord."

Do not let evil defeat you; instead, conquer evil with good.

I'm thankful for these two verses because it assures me that trials I am undergoing because of someone will not be overlooked. She will somehow be repayed. It also reminds me how to act towards her, when my human nature wants to react to her in a very bad way!
